Julien P. Icher is a French geographer and historian. He is the founder and president of The Lafayette Trail, Inc. (thelafayettetrail.org), a nonprofit organization interpreting the significance of Lafayette’s legacy and preparing for the bicentennial celebrations of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour in 2024 and 2025. With more than seven years dedicated to the subject, Julien is widely regarded as one of the leading authorities on Lafayette’s 1824-1825 visit to the U.S.. He is the host, director, and producer of Follow The Frenchmen, a not-for-profit documentary series about Lafayette’s momentous 1824-1825 journey in the U.S..
